Academy

Free, self-paced courses on earning from the chunks you publish.

RetroDeck Academy is where these docs turn into a plan. The docs tell you what each command does. The academy walks you from an empty vault to a node that earns, one short lesson at a time, with a diagram carrying most of each explanation.

New to RDK? Play through RDK World first. The course starts there, and the walkthrough takes about fifteen minutes.

Worth Retrieving

The first course is Worth Retrieving, the RDK monetization masterclass: 40 lessons across 10 modules. It covers why public chunks earn, how to write chunks that agents pick, the numbers that show what is working, and the business models operators run on top of RDK.

  • Module 0: Orientation (4 lessons). How the course works, a tour of RDK World, and RDK installed on your machine.
  • Module 1: Why RDK pays (4 lessons). The mental model the whole course runs on: knowledge is the asset, retrieval is the usage, settlement is the income.
  • Module 2: Your first node (4 lessons). Stand up a real node, index your first vault, watch your first retrieval fire, and run a node on Android.
  • Module 3: Making knowledge retrievable (5 lessons). The core skill: what makes a chunk get picked, and how to cut, write, and label knowledge so agents choose yours.
  • Module 4: The earning engine (5 lessons). How tips add up, which numbers to watch, and the loop that tunes a vault into one that earns.
  • Module 5: Monetization playbooks (5 lessons). Five business models operators run on RDK, and how to choose yours.
  • Module 6: Distribution and demand (3 lessons). Where retrieval demand comes from, how to get found, and how to bring more agents into your domain.
  • Module 7: Scale and automation (4 lessons). Pipelines, an automated tuning loop, and multiple nodes, with quality held at the gate.
  • Module 8: Becoming a knowledge operator (3 lessons). Turn your skill into offers, price them honestly, and prove your work with your own numbers.
  • Module 9: Capstone (3 lessons). Ship a live, tuned, tracked node and the one-page plan behind it.
